In 1996 Simon was nominated as best selling published artist for his Formula 1 limited edition fine art prints which sold to a huge audience worldwide throughout the 1990's. He sold original works to many involved in the sport, his client list reading like a who's who of the Formula 1 and rallying worlds. Since then, Simon has become a highly respected portrait painter.
Inspired by his enthusiasm for the sport of cycling, Simon has been busy developing a small collection of original cycling art in a vibrant new style. Some of these works are published as Limited Edition Giclée prints. These cycle art prints can be ordered on this website or through your local framing gallery.
Geraint has signed 40 special larger format copies of Simon's "Sky Sunset" Limited Edition print.
The print features Team Sky, with Geraint Thomas in the yellow jersey, on the Champs-Élysées at the 2018 Tour De France, and commemorates Sky's last Tour victory, and Geraint's first. They include a painting celebrating his Grand Tour Triple, plus four of his best stage wins including Finestre, where he launched his incredible 80km solo breakaway at last years Giro D'Italia, Monte Zoncolan, also at last years Giro, Mont Ventoux in the 2013 Tour de France, and Cumbre del Sol where he secured victory in the 2017 Vuelta in 2017.
